| Our Vision We are here to serve as beacons of the Light of Grace, to exemplify positive thinking, well being and wholeness and to welcome the Holy Spirit in love. We are here to transform lives through improving thought: from negative thinking to a positive outlook on life. We are here to witness and rejoice in the process, advancement and achievement of others. Grace is the fulfillment of God’s law. Grace is concerned about and deals with thoughts and motives as well as our overt actions; deeds that are open and observable abrogate certain concessions made formally because of the hardness of the heart of mankind. | Our Mission Our mission is to demonstrate and practice the love of God by serving all of God’s creation as exemplified by our Savior Jesus the Christ as He taught us in Matthew. …for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:35-40 Our desire in the Lord is to foster a willing consciousness of individual responsibility of caring for our neighbors as ourselves. We believe all humanity regardless of race, national origin, age, economic status, stage in recovery, sexual orientation and/or gender identity, has a divine birthright to sit at the table that the Lord has prepared. |
| What We Believe God is Spirit and the very thought of Love. Jesus Christ, the Logos, is the expression of God’s love for us: manifested by the working of the Holy Spirit, born of a woman in the likeness of men for the identification and communication with mankind. We are the extension of the essence of unconditional love, created in the image and likeness of God in Christ Jesus. Love in me, I in love, centered in Christ; we are a redeemed body through the life, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nothing real can be threatening. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lays within us God’s peace. For only love is real – an eternal creation and nothing can destroy it! |
| Our Leadership Our founder and Sr. Pastor, Elder Adrienne Blount was ordained as an Elder in 1972 at the First Glorious Church of the Bronx, New York. She began preaching and started her evangelism ministry at the tender age of 8 and preached her trial sermon at the age of 9. She is a firm believer that the Lord helps those who seek Him with sincerity and earnestly. She believes that salvation is available to all. "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." II Peter 3:9 |
